Peter Hong - Star Wars Extravaganza




I had a lot of reference for this, but I changed it up a little bit. I did one with a stolen background, but the angle wasn't right, the color of Hobbes blended in with the background, and the speeder color lost some of the detail. Man! All that extra work for nuthin'...

This makes me SO happy! Two heartfelt childhood obsessions in one; it's a dream come true. :) And amazing job on that speederbike!! So crisp and well-rendered! I'm always a goof when it comes to machines, so I really appreciate them when they're done well.

Also, I'm down for the mustache topic!

thanks, marie! i'm no good at machines or objects either. it's a chore, but i try to do it w/reference sometimes. ;)

ok, movember! i'm on it in a few days... it would be cool to see more star wars extravaganza entries, too! :D
