Hi guys, Okay... I cheated a little. I painted this several months ago. I have guests coming for the week, probably don't have time to draw a new one. The medium is gouache on canvas.
That is really beautiful, Helen! I like how the expression of the hand is a little ambiguous. He could be reaching out for something, leading someone in...whatever it's doing, it speaks of urgency, and I like it.

For some reason, it felt to me like he's throwing something at the wall. Or maybe shouting Open Sesame?
Nice! I've always wanted to try gouache because the name sounds so funny.
Gouache has a very unique texture. Somehow, people either love it or hate it.
