Adam Heine - Ruins

For some reason, landscapes demand color in my head. These are watercolor pencils. What little ink work there is was done with the most amazing pen Japan has to offer (courtesy of Marie Criddle).

Ha! Glad to see the pen was put to good use. Absolutely love the subtle ruin...is there a story behind this? Will you write one?

It's just sort of a generic post-apocalyptic world. For some reason, I love the idea of hulking relics like this still existing in a world that doesn't really use them anymore. Kinda like Wall-E or Macross City from Robotech. I'm not writing anything with this specifically, but I easily could.

I'll try to do something more obvious with the Japanese Magic Pen soon :-)

Nice, bold colors! I love watercolor pencils, but mine always end up looking so washed-out.
