Honest, I don't have much experience with kaiju and I'm not sure what object he might be based on (except perhaps the unholy union of a sumo wrestler and an angry unicorn) buuuuuut...for scale, that's King Kong on his horn.
i second the comment about line weight. very cool. and fitting considering the subject matter. he kinda reminds me of paul giamatti. hilarious homage to king kong, too!

And so funny you should mention the line weight/Japanese thing...this was the first piece I've done using my new, most favorite pen I've ever touched in the whole world, a fountain/Japanese brush pen. It's used primarily for calligraphy, but it flows SO nicely with just drawing. I can't get enough of it.
Also, the Paul Giamatti thing is hilarious...that guy would make a charming kaiju. :)
