Adam Heine - Back Burner

It was apparently a year ago that I said I would color and ink this sketch. Thanks to Charles's topic, I finally did!

Thanks, guys! One reason I always put off coloring (or inking, for that matter) is I'm always afraid I'll make it worse. This is me trying to get over that :-)

The coloring on this is BEAUTIFUL! Look at it! Just look at it!! What are these, watercolor? Just lovely. Man, now I need to go back and watch Guardians and Iron Giant again. Curse you, Heine! There goes my productive evening!

Thank you so much! These are watercolor pencils (my favorite way to do watercolor, but the way I do the least since it's like four stages: pencil, ink, color in pencil, paint with water).

And I'm glad to have contributed to your Guardians/Iron Giant evening. Maybe I'll do the same!
