Marie Criddle - Self Portrait

One of my greatest weaknesses in drawing is realistic looking people that actually LOOK like who they're supposed to be. So while this doesn't exactly look like me (I don't think), it represents what, I guess, I wished I looked like, to a certain degree. Also, my hair looks GREAT in this.

LOL. I agree: faces are the HARDEST if you're trying to make it look like the actual person.

I KNOW, right? I volunteered as a portrait artist at a school carnival once. WORST. IDEA. EVER...until I started adding unicorns and spaceships, then they seemed to get over the fact the pictures looked nothing like them.

Seriously? THIS is your greatest weakness? Dang, Marie. I wish I had your weaknesses.

And I'd totally pay for a self-portrait of a unicorn/space ship.
