Charles Eubanks - Doctor Who

This is my attempt to capture Matt Smith's amazing physical comedy.  I love how he has a way of looking like he's moving in more than one direction at once, leaving everyone befuddled by his zany exuberance.

Carolee Eubanks - Doctor Who

That's the 11th Doctor (played by Matt Smith), with his companion Amy Pond.  Carolee sculpted these miniatures out of Sculpey.  Aren't they totes adorbs?

Peter Hong - Doctor Who

In keeping w/non-Doctor Who doctors...If you don't know who this is, maybe I need more visual cues, like this:

I'm enjoying as much of this stuff as I can while in the States. :)

Jaqai Mickelsen - Doctor Who

Ok, yeah. So...again...it's been a while. But I've had this lil' bobblehead around forever, and I realized, "wait a minute! He's a Doctor!"

It's been a while (shocking, I know) since I've drawn something by referencing it in actual 3D space, so it was fun to dust off those observation muscles. I give myself a B+ given how long it's been.

Brian Y.A. Lee - Doctor Who!!!

Doctor Who!!!?  Doctor Doom. Hard choice between Doom and Dr. Wily from Mega Man, but I think Doom is more evil?  Got little lazy with hood and cape.

Topic for 4/16 - 4/28

Holy whoops!  Has it really been a month since we've had a new topic?  Allow me to rectify that!  This time around, let's tackle another pop culture icon:

DOCTOR WHO!!!

Who was your first doctor?  Who (or what) is your favorite villain?  Do you secretly wish you were his companion?  What time and place would you visit?

As always, have fun!
