Charles Eubanks - Past Topic

I still like Andy's post for this topic WAY better than mine.  But because this is the only topic I didn't attempt myself, the completist in me insists I post this.

I don't normally title my art, but I'd call this one "umbilical."  I simultaneously dedicate it to the astronauts of the Gemini program, and to my wife and kids.

Andy Eubanks - Outer Space

Guest post from my 6-year-old!  He's been on a huge graphic novel kick lately, and this is one of his many creations.

For more of his art, see www.AndyEubanks.com.

Peter Hong - Outer Space

Carin Pratt

I asked my son what would be a funny outerspace/alien kind of thing, "Hmm, an alien juggling 50 million tennis balls with his nose."  So I reduced the 50 million to 9 and changed the tennis balls to planets - depending on when you learned the planets, otherwise 8 planets and 1 orbiting something or other.

Marie Criddle - Outer Space

This is actually an old piece from last month but being in transit overseas, I thought I could get away with fudging just a little, time-wise. Pretty please? :D

Helen Cheung, Outer Space

The background is drawn with soft pastel, then I insert the digital couple. I want to see what I will do with circles.

Adam Heine - Outer Space

So many directions I wanted to go, but in the end, this is what was in my head (mostly).

Topic for 8/8 to 8/14

Great Wild West drawings last week, everyone!  This week, we're setting our coordinates for...

Outer Space!

Lots of storytelling possibilities there, right?  Thanks once again to Adam for the suggestion.  Remember, if you have topic ideas, post them in the comments.

And now...  Engage!
