I still like Andy's post for this topic WAY better than mine. But because this is the only topic I didn't attempt myself, the completist in me insists I post this.
I don't normally title my art, but I'd call this one "umbilical." I simultaneously dedicate it to the astronauts of the Gemini program, and to my wife and kids.

sweet! looks almost photographic! i like the lighting and blur. it's different from your other stuff, too.
Oh, wow! I love the subtle lens flare in the corner and the planet looks AMAZING. This reminds me of the cutscene you got in the old "X-Wing" video game when you were shot down (but not killed)...kinda gives off an endlessly quiet, resigned feel. Nice.
