Topic for 2/14 to 2/27

I tell you, Preston the dentist was really pleased with the previous toothy topic! When I asked him for a little input on what should be our next topic, he only said "more teeth." Next time, buddy. But our recent Netflix marathon of "Chuck" has brought me to this for our next topic....

SPIES!

Pull out that night-vision pen and the two way eraser and get (code) cracking!

(The next topic will be posted by Jaqai Mickelsen on or around 2/27!)

Peter Hong - Teeth

I went the reference route as well and did a modern version of the Corinthian, a character from Neil Gaiman's "Sandman" comic book series. More info on him here.

Charles Eubanks - Teeth

"Woo-hoo, it's picture day!  And I got to meet the toof fairy last night!"

As usual, not at all what I'd planned to draw for this topic.  But this is what I landed on after about a page and a half of doodles.

Adam Heine - Teeth

I had no ideas, so I just drew from reference this round. Bonus points if you know what it is.

K. Marie Criddle - Teeth

So I drew a werewolf mid-transformation (for the teeth, naturally) and my husband chimed in on all the things about her teeth that might but worrisome to her dentist. Then he made sure that I drew him looking mildly appalled at her lack of dental care.

Topic for 1/28 - 2/11

Yay, my turn!  I love this tag-team topic idea.  Let's try something a little more open-ended for this week's topic:

TEETH!

And by the way, thanks you guys for getting this thing started again!  It's great to be back in the swing of things.

(The next topic will be posted around Feb 11th by the fabulous Mrs. Criddle!)

Charles Eubanks - Kaiju

When I think of gigantic, overgrown creatures, I don't need to look much further than my own dear cat Thaddeus.  If he were to emerge from the depths of the Pacific Ocean, he would not need to travel far to find his favorite dish.  And he would not be much larger than he already is.

K. Marie Criddle - Kaiju

Honest, I don't have much experience with kaiju and I'm not sure what object he might be based on (except perhaps the unholy union of a sumo wrestler and an angry unicorn) buuuuuut...for scale, that's King Kong on his horn.
