So a million years ago, I ordered a bunch of small blank cardboard sketchbooks in bulk for super cheap. I wanted to do SOMETHING grand and glorious with them, but alas, the time got away from me and they sat unused for a long long long time. This week I finished up a few big projects and decided to dig these out again for my back burner project...lo and behold! Now what do I do with them?? :)

wow! lots of diversity and depth in these covers, marie! i especially like the unicorn with majestic flowing goatee, and the brilliant fiery tree! alliteration and rhyming in this comment were completely unintentional... ;)
I like the guy putting an arc reactor into his chest ;-) The tree is also cool.
Peter, you're a poet and you don't know it! :) And Adam, the arc reactor was totally unintentional! I...ahem...kind of messed up on the hand position and the white pen was the only thing I had on hand that could cover it up. Et voila! Dapper Blond Iron Man at your service.
It's a pleasant mistake then! It gives that picture a lot of added meaning, I think (I mean in addition to the arc reactor interpretation, of course).
These are great! Was the page brown to begin with? That's something I need to work on more, starting from a middle tone and adding lighter/darker tones.
Yes, the cover is brown...a really thin cardboard. I've never been big on starting with middle tone either, but I've definitely gotten use out of my old white markers and crayons lately! :)
