thanks! i had some reference, but nothing showing the underbelly. the cartoon character looks nothing like the toy, so i took liberties, too (red lion from voltron, for those who haven't watched the show)!
Oh, this is brilliant. I recognized the toy immediately! (I had it as a kid but I totally forgot it was from Voltron.) The textures are great and like Charles and Jaqai said, the perspective is AWESOME.
I just want to know what evil villian gave Red Lion the yarn. Such a dastardly plan!

thanks, jaqai. i tried putting some shadows in, but they looked horrible. put a lot of work into this, so i have mixed feelings about the result.
